Senior SAP SD Specialist


Job description

SAP ECC is an important part of the system landscape. Many sales and invoicing processes are managed in SAP SD. In addition to SAP SD, the SAP CRM system is one of the important applications managed in the Customer Service team.

In this role you will be part of a team of SAP SD and SAP CRM specialists dedicated to supporting and implementing system and process improvements in SAP SD, SAP CRM and related systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, planning and practical organization of analyses to ensure that they can run efficiently:
    • Drawing up a work plan
    • Obtaining information from all possible parties involved to get a clear picture of the assignment
    • Study and research work
    • Acquire knowledge of the existing business and ICT architecture
  • Preparing analyses and recommendations to propose solutions tailored to the business, in line with the (ICT) strategy:
    • Analysing and designing processes
    • Documenting processes and customized IT solutions
    • Ensuring consistency with existing business architecture
    • Reporting on the progress of analyses and processes
    • Signaling bottlenecks
    • Preparing and supervising the approval of change requests compared to the initial scope
  • Translate the analyses into functional specifications for the development team and perform configuration work
    • Clear and functional description of the analysed solution in order to have it developed
    • Performing configuration work in SAP SD (and SAP CRM)
  • Be actively involved in the testing and production of the solution
    • Assist in preparing the HP QC testing system
    • Testing developments and configuration settings
  • Follow up and solve incidents, problems and changes
  • Participate in projects where the SAP SD (or SAP CRM) functionality is required to provide an integrated solution

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent through experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in setting up and improving SD processes in SAP ECC; proven successful implementation of SAP SD in at least 2 projects from A to Z.
  • Experience with the integration of SD with MM, PM, PS, WM, FICO,… is very important
  • Knowledge and experience with IDOC and BDOC processing and support are important
  • SAP CRM experience is a great asset because this application is also supported in the team, especially the modules Sales and Service
  • Excellent knowledge of core business processes of sales, shipping and billing
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
