Teamlead Project & Program Management

Job description

Our current transformation program focuses on our relationship with NMBS/SNCB Business with strong demand management. In order to manage our customers and partners, we are setting up a strong Service Delivery Management and process driven organisation with a transversal approach.

  • You are responsible for the planning, management and delivery of program objectives to agree milestones, quality and budget. You are ultimately responsible for delivery of the projects within time and budget.
  • You establish best practices, define and standardize process and framework within the team and you communicate and implement the (new) methodology and processes within the entire company.
  • You challenge business requirements and functional designs and you challenge for alternative proposals with a positive impact on the business case.
  • You supervise a team of Project Managers, Program Managers, Business Process Analysts and Agile Coaches. You set their objectives and evaluate them, you check and approve timesheets, ensure the right training in collaboration with HR, ...
  • You develop Program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track them and report issues for management action.
  • You define evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.


  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied economics or Commercial Engineer or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years experience in Project & Program Management and Business processes, of which preferably at least 5 years as a people manager within the focus domain of IT
  • In depth knowledge of ITSM and ITBM processes 
  • Project Management certification: PM², PMBOK and/or PMI certification
  • Knowledge of Agile and IT4IT
  • Able to apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
  • Fluent in Dutch / French / English, spoken and written
