Senior SAP SCM Domain Architect

As a Senior SAP SCM domain architect experienced with SAP SCM, you are responsible for SNCB’s SAP and non SAP IT architecture (as is and to be) within the End to end processes for Supply Chain Management Processes.

The SCM domain includes all SCM areas from Long Term Planning and Budgeting, over Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Operations, MRP, Serialized Products, Warehousing, Production and Shop Floor Control, Quality Control, and Stock transfers between warehouses and shop floors.

As a hands on experienced SAP domain architect being part of our ERP transversal team, your key responsibilities will be the following:

• You are the main contact for the architecture within the domain of SCM
• You manage the strategic vision and SAP Roadmap (multi-year plan) in collaboration with IT and business management to ensure a coherent, stable and efficient IT architecture landscape that meets users’ needs
• You lead meetings with senior business managers in areas of all supply chain processes, Data management
• You convince a team of senior business users, SAP consultants of the to be solutions in line with the future architectures
• You lead projects with full or partial scope in SCM
• You work closely with our SAP consultants

Requirements

• Knowledge of NL/FR is a critical requirement
• At least 15 years hands on experience in implementing companywide SCM processes using SAP solutions in large , Belgian, public, enterprises (+20 000 employees), preferably in several different asset heavy companies (Utilities, air&defence, …)
• Experience in the SNCB SCM organisation is considered a big advantage
• In-depth solution knowledge on SAP ECC PP, PS, PM, MM, WM, APO, and their respective follow-on products in S4HANA, SAP EWM, and Intelligent Business Planning (SAP IBP), as well as in-depth functional and configuration knowledge of links with other modules or non-SAP solutions in areas like Asset Management (SAP IAM), Procurement (Ariba), Workforce Activity Registration, Financials and Competence Mgt solutions;
• Strong knowledge and skills of project management methodology and experience in working with ServiceNow, Jira & Xray, ADOIT Enterprise Architecture, ARIS BPM and Solution Manager
• Able and willing to document the SAP and the other SCM solutions and their roadmap in ADOIT (EA tool) and in ARIS (BPM tool) and in the Data management tool
• Expertise in a broad range of MRO/SCM solutions in or outside of SAP, as well as up to date on all Data Security requirements in Belgian and European legislation
• Strong communication skills
  • Stakeholder management, negotiation skills, connective communication.
  • Knowledge of French AND Dutch is mandatory for this position. English is a plus.
