We are looking for a  colleague  with a strong focus on communication to support the implementation of robust security measures under NIS 2 regulations in SNCB.  The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams, leadership, and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment on cybersecurity priorities across SNCB.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute clear communication plans to support the rollout of new security initiatives and policies across SNCB and towards external stakeholders

  • Foster collaboration and awareness across the organization to build a security-first culture through the development of community/information/learning initiatives.

  • Translate technical cybersecurity requirements into accessible, non-technical language for diverse audiences, including executives and external partners

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input, address concerns, and ensure consistent messaging on cybersecurity changes.

  • Work with several teams to achieve the above goals, internal communications, external communications, ….

  • Communicate the importance of cybersecurity measures and NIS 2 compliance across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Help prepare the information sessions for government agencies, the CCB, and other regulatory bodies, as part of audits or inspections.

Requirements

  • Strong background in communication, change management, or stakeholder engagement

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and NIS 2 regulations (technical expertise is not required but beneficial).

  • Experience in facilitating meetings, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including government and regulatory bodies.

 Desired Skills:

  • Experience in developing communication strategies for change initiatives.

  • Experience in Social behaviour  and company culture change are a plus

  • Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn
