The Senior Developer will play a key role in proposing innovative and effective solutions within the Business Domain Transport Executions. The role involves developing cloud backends in Azure for mobile apps, web interfaces, and integrating with legacy systems. The candidate will be responsible for writing high-quality, well-tested software that meets project requirements and actively collaborating with the business to refine and enhance ideas. 

Key Responsibilities 

Software Development: 

  • Develop and maintain cloud backends in Azure, mobile applications, and web interfaces. 

  • Integrate new solutions with existing legacy systems. 

  • Write high-quality, well-tested software that meets project requirements. 

  • Ensure code quality through strong expertise in unit testing and adherence to best practices. 

Collaboration and Innovation: 

  • Propose innovative and effective solutions to the lead designer. 

  • Gain a deep understanding of the business domain and actively collaborate with business stakeholders. 

  • Refine and enhance ideas through active engagement with the business. 

Technical Expertise: 

  • Utilize over 7 years of experience in .NET development. 

  • Leverage over 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud development and .NET Core Web API development. 

  • Apply knowledge of PaaS (API manager, Service Bus, Event Grid, Blob storage, CosmosDB, Azure Functions), Kubernetes, Docker containers, REST API, dependency injection, design patterns, SQL, clean code, and SOLID principles. 

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps. 

  • Use Git for version control and collaboration. 

Requirements

Mandatory Criteria 

  • Over 7 years of experience in .NET development. 

  • Over 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud development. 

  • Over 5 years of experience in .NET Core Web API development. 

  • Strong expertise in unit testing. 

  • Fluent in English

  • Fluent in Dutch or French

  • Minimum 2 days onsite in Brussels. 

Preferred Knowledge and Experience 

  • Experience with PaaS: API manager, Service Bus, Event Grid, Blob storage, CosmosDB, Azure Functions. 

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers. 

  • Proficiency in REST API, dependency injection, and design patterns. 

  • Strong understanding of SQL, clean code, and SOLID principles. 

  • Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps. 

  • Proficiency in Git. 

  • Ability to create effective, meaningful, and maintainable unit tests.
