Junior IT Specialist - Analyst

Ypto is seeking motivated Young Graduates eager to bridge the gap between IT and Business. We are looking to hire several profiles, including Functional Analysts and Developers, each with distinct skill sets and responsibilities.

You will be part of our Solution Delivery Transport operations, Data & Planning (TDP) department, responsible for systems supporting real-time operations, transport execution management, transport planning, competencies management, data & analytics, M365, collaboration tools, and document management.

Responsibilities:

Functional Analysts:

• Identify and analyze client requirements.

• Translate business needs into IT solutions.

• Conduct detailed business process analysis and optimization.

• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams.

• Document and communicate requirements effectively to all stakeholders.

• Utilize Atlassian suite tools (JIRA, Confluence) and work according to Agile/Scrum methodology.

Developers:

• Design, develop, and implement IT solutions based on requirements.

• Participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle.

• Debug, test, and maintain software applications.

• Ensure high-quality and efficient code.

• Collaborate with Functional Analysts and implementation partners to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Testers:

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and functionality.

• Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and potential areas for improvement.

• Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance product quality.

• Perform thorough regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.

• Work with automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Data Engineers:

• Develop end-to-end data applications using Azure services.

• Work with Azure data analytics services (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Server, Databricks, Azure ML).

• Get familiar with open-source data technologies (PySpark, Pandas, SQL).

• Get to know and utilize state-of-the-art software engineering best practices and tools (Git, CI/CD, tests, Pipelines, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).

• Work with functional analysts to ensure that the data applications meet all requirements.

• Work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, and manage work time effectively.

• Participate to the definition of standards, guidelines and best practices and make sure to respect them.

• Grow professionally and stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies and identify potential impact of market trends in your tasks.

Requirements

• A completed Master's degree in a relevant field such as:

Additional Requirements for Functional Analysts:

• Strong analytical skills to deeply understand business problems.

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions between business and technical teams.

• Proficiency in business process analysis and optimization.

• Experience with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) and Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, and the ability to understand the other language. English proficiency is also required.

Additional Requirements for Developers:

• A completed Master's degree in IT/Technology or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as C#/.Net, Kubernetes, Azure Function, Service Bus, CosmosDB, Redis Cache, Application Insights, React, and Blazor.

• Experience in software development and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to debug, test, and maintain software applications effectively.

• Proficiency in English.

Additional Requirements for Testers:

• Proficiency with tools like Ready API, Swagger, Postman, SOAP UI, SQL Server/Oracle DB, XML/JSON, Jira/Xray, GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Relational Databases (SQL).

• Skilled in testing processes, from requirement analysis to test plan execution.

• Proficiency in English.

Additional Requirements for Data Engineers:

• A STEM background (science, technology, engineering, mathematics or equivalent)

• Passion for technology

• An analytical mind, favoring thorough exploration of business requirements and comprehensive analysis until the problem is fully understood.

• Eagerness to learn and ambition.

• Quick adaptability to new concepts.

• Knowledge of English and French/Dutch (preferably all three).
