At Ypto, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead to oversee a team of end-to-end testers dedicated to ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of digital sales channels.
In this role, you will lead the testing efforts for customer-facing platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and e-commerce systems. You will be responsible for defining testing strategies, overseeing execution, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences, exceptional efficiency, and outstanding system performance.
As Team Lead E2E Testing, you will be part of CCP (Commercial Channels and Products), the delivery organization that manages the sales channels (front-ends) NMBS uses for sales, after-sales, and other services, as well as the corresponding back-end products. You will report directly to the Business Area Manager of the domain.
Responsabilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of end-to-end testers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Define and implement testing strategies for digital sales channels, ensuring the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and resolve quality issues.
Drive automation testing initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage.
Oversee the testing of websites, mobile apps, e-commerce systems, and other customer-facing platforms.
Monitor team performance and project progress, ensuring timely and successful delivery of testing activities.
Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and processes within the organization.
Identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate them throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to the broader digital transformation efforts within NMBS by ensuring robust and user-centric systems.
Strong expertise in manual and automated testing practices and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, Postman).
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
Proficiency in testing web services (REST, SOAP) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Understanding of security testing, usability testing, and accessibility standards is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English and either French or Dutch (C-level proficiency).
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level)
Background in leading testing for platforms with a high volume of concurrent users is a strong plus.
