We are looking for a colleague with a strong focus on communication to support the implementation of robust security measures under NIS 2 regulations in SNCB. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams, leadership, and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment on cybersecurity priorities across SNCB.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute clear communication plans to support the rollout of new security initiatives and policies across SNCB and towards external stakeholders
Foster collaboration and awareness across the organization to build a security-first culture through the development of community/information/learning initiatives.
Translate technical cybersecurity requirements into accessible, non-technical language for diverse audiences, including executives and external partners
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input, address concerns, and ensure consistent messaging on cybersecurity changes.
Work with several teams to achieve the above goals, internal communications, external communications, ….
Communicate the importance of cybersecurity measures and NIS 2 compliance across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Help prepare the information sessions for government agencies, the CCB, and other regulatory bodies, as part of audits or inspections.
Strong background in communication, change management, or stakeholder engagement
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and NIS 2 regulations (technical expertise is not required but beneficial).
Experience in facilitating meetings, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including government and regulatory bodies.
Desired Skills:
Experience in developing communication strategies for change initiatives.
Experience in Social behaviour and company culture change are a plus
Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn
